Sophie's House - Tairua / Coromandel

The brief was to design a very simple, well functioning and energy efficient home with a very moderate budget. It had to contain 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a single garage, a massage studio, lots of storage, open plan living, passive solar heating/thermal mass and a large north facing deck. We achieved every item on that wishlist and the project was completed under budget.
